American Tournaments

These very popular mixed doubles events are organised throughout the Summer. Players of all abilities have the chance to compete with a number of different partners in a round robin format. The event ends with prize giving and tea. Have a look at news and events so you don't miss the next one and arrive well in advance so you don't miss out!

The format is as follows:

  • Mixed doubles play
  • 7 rounds of 7 games are played
  • Players have a different partner each round, with winners playing with losers from previous round
  • Tea, new tennis balls and scorecards are provided by NOLTC
  • Drinks and other refreshments are available at the bar
  • Prizes are awarded at the end to the winners - best man, best lady, as well as others.

Play starts at 2.00pm, with entry from 1.30pm. The entry fee is £4 per person.
